Baptist History Tour of Israel 2007

We are back! Last night, we arrived back from an incredible tour of the Holy Land, with 170 students from Liberty University and the Liberty Theological Seminary. We spent three nights in Jerusalem, seeing the Garden Tomb, the Old City, and the Upper Room, the site of the first Southern Baptist Convention

Then, we spent four nights in Galilee, including a trip to the Golan Heights. From Masada and the Dead Sea in the south, to Tel Aviv in the west, it was wonderful. With Michael John leading worship, and classes offered in Theology, Church History and Baptist History, we spent innumerable hours with some of the best students in the world.

Now I begin work toward the new semester at LTS- this semester I am teaching three classes: Theological Survey 201, Church History 301 (Dissenters to the Radical Reformers/Anabaptists), and Apologetics to Middle Eastern Religions (Modern Judaism, Islam, Baha’i, and Zoroastrianism).
